EBOLA: POPE TO RELEASE MOVIE … Christian film too

In his own way of contributing to the fight against the spread of the deadly Ebola virus, Popoola Adewale a.k.a Pope is set to release a movie, Recovery (Imubosipo). The 25 minutes movie is to educate and inform the general public on the dreaded disease and its undue social stigmatization.
According to Pope, “This one on Ebola is a 25 minutes film with comedy, love and tragedy. It is about the transmission, cure and prevention of the virus and that stigmatization should be stopped. It was shot in pidgin and in Yoruba so that it will be useful to everyone whether Yoruba or English speaking. It is going to be translated in Queen’s English too.”

He went on, “The Ebola film is going to act as an antidote to the fear the people have about the virus. It will also entertain, educate and instruct the people. It’s not just going to be a home video. That is why we are taking it to government and other relevant health bodies and concern corporations.
We intend using it as a national heritage. We are calling on the federal and state governments to use it to teach the people all they need to know on Ebola. The film will be released this month, October.”

On his forthcoming Christian movie, the editor and producer hinted, “The Goodly Heritage Int. Film Ministry & GI Ways Studio has also produced End of Operation as part of our evangelism work. It teaches man not to look for help except from God. Preaching the good news should be about bringing the good news of everyday life to man, not just about preaching Jesus Christ.
We are doing the work of God. The film will get to the churches for viewing.”
For the Sickle Cell movie, “I also produced a film on sickle cell anemia which I have taken to the sickle cell association of Nigeria. I have not release it because there are a lot work still to be done on it and its going to cost tens of millions of naira to complete. I need about N50m to finish the film on sickle cell.”
The other members cast and crew for End of Operation is Olajide Olaegbe, Chester Osdagie, Bose Bassey, Ladipo Ebenezer, Maryjane Bamigbose Ans Segunfunmi Adegbesan.
The cast and crew for Recovery are Richard Adebayo, Bose Bassey and Priscillia Kadejo,
