President Barack Obama made his case for a future America where
economic policy heavily taxes the rich to benefit the middle class,
where US foreign policy consists largely of coalition-building and
diplomacy, and where his legacy as the president who crushed the Islamic
State terror army is a step closer to reality. The White House gave the
public a rare sneak peek at the text of Obama's address, releasing it
15 minutes before go-time - a privilege reserved in previous years for
White House correspondents. Michelle Obama, dressed in a gray suit,
clapped and smiled as her husband spoke as did members of Congress.
