Arizona’s Legislature has passed a controversial bill that
would allow business owners, as long as they assert their religious beliefs, to
deny service to gay and lesbian customers. The bill, which the state House of
Representatives passed by a 33-27 vote Thursday, now goes to Gov. Jan Brewer, a
Republican and onetime small business owner who vetoed similar legislation last
year but has expressed the right of business owners to deny service.

Yaya Toure: I don’t want to play against former club Barcelona
Toure’s side host Barca in the first leg of their last 16 tie on Tuesday, before travelling to the Nou Camp on March 12.
But the 30-year-old, who spent three years with the Catalan giants before joining City in 2010, says he’s not looking forward to the imminent encounter.
‘It’s difficult because I don’t really want to play Barcelona,’ Toure told the Uefa website.
‘I will play against these guys at the Camp Nou. It’s the stadium where I always wanted to play and now I’ll be coming back wearing a different shirt.
‘I didn’t want to play in front of the fans who gave me so much love and respected me, but that’s football.’
Arsene Wenger ‘met with Robin van Persie’s agent to discuss transfer back to Arsenal’
Van Persie, who forced a move to Manchester United last year, enjoyed a superb opening season at Old Trafford – firing the club to the Premier League title.

According to Sky Italia, Wenger met Van Persie’s representative in London late last month where it was made clear that Van Persie wants to leave United – and go back to the Gunners.
