PRESIDENT JONATHAN TO CONTEST 2015 ELECTIONS-GOV UDUAGHAN

While the commissioning of the 2nd Niger Bridge was being done this morning at Onitsha, indications that the presiding commissioner of the project, President Goodluck Jonathan will open the bridge when it is completed in 2018 as president became more pronounced with the speech delivered at the occasion by the Governor of Delta State, Emmanuel Uduaghan.

The oil rich governor had told the august gathering of distinguished visitors which included the President, the out-going and newly elected governors of Anambra State, Peter Obi and Willie Obianor respectively in pidgin English, that he believes that the President, who has done the historic commissioning will also be the one to declare the bridge open for public use when it is completed. According to Uduaghan`s analogy of the woman who cooks and must be the first person to eat the food unlike the olden days where it was the man that first eats of the food, said, “…but this time o na the person wen cook the food go first eat am. It mean say President Goodluck Ebele Azikiwe Jonathan na him go commission the 2nd Niger bridge wen den don finished the construction.” is this another of saying that the president is contesting the 2015 elections? time will tell.
anyway with the President present at the occasion and that Uduaghan would not have uttered such comments without the inkling of the Ijaw man, The New Star Magazine is of the opinion that all is now set for the second coming of the son of Egbesu as Nigeria`s next president come 2015.
Uduaghan had before delving into politics said he watched TV that day where the Chairman of INEC, Professor Jega told Nigerians that though the time for political campaigning has not started, political rallies can go on. If TNS is correct in its assumption, the able governor must have kick started the campaign programme of Mr. President already.
