Tragedy in Synagogue: 10-year-old, foreigners, others die in Synagogue building collapse

A six-storey building belonging to the Synagogue Church of All Nations, Ikotun, Lagos, collapsed on Friday with no fewer than 50 persons feared dead.
The building, which was under construction, was initially a two-storey building before the addition of four new floors which were under construction.
Saturday PUNCH gathered that the building, which housed guests and members of the church, already had so many people lodged in it before the incident.
The six-storey building, which collapsed around 1pm, was under construction.
The Synagogue Church of All Nations was founded by Prophet Temitope Joshua.

Duke, Abiola, Oluwole others tasks women to tap into their natural skills at GLEEHD Women summit

 
The Wife of the Former Governor of Cross River, Mrs. Onari Duke and other eminent women has called on Nigeria women to tap into their natural creative talent to succeed and gain influence.
 
The women said this while speaking at the 2014 Women in Business and Leadership Summit organized by GLEEHD Foundation held recently at the Dream Center in Anthony, Lagos.
 
The programme tagged Women Transforming Communities; Developing Economics brought together hundreds of women from the public and private sector, government functionaries, small business owners, educationists, civil society groups, and media experts. 
 
The event featured various plenary sessions including Transforming Public Service through Women Participation, Women in Business: Transforming the Market Place, Emerging Women Leaders: Leadership through Influence, Media and Imaging Women as Transformers and a Keynote speech Professor Sophie Oluwole.
