Don Pedro Aganbi wins ISPON Special Recognition Award
Foremost Information Communications Technology (ICT) broadcaster and producer of the multiple award winning TV programme Technology Africa Don Pedro Aganbi has been honoured with the Institute of Software Practitioners of Nigeria special recognition award for his pioneering role in ICT reporting in Nigeria. The special recognition award was presented to him at the ISPON national conference and software competition organized in partnership with the Cross Rivers State Government in Tinapa, calabar.
Presenting the award to Don Pedro Aganbi, President, Institute of Software practioners of Nigeria Chris Uwaje praised Don Pedro Aganbi for his passion, dedication and constituency. “You have demonstrated a rare passion and history of consistency for this industry, you have been there from the beginning always wanting to learn and improve. Indeed, this has paid off because of the quality of your works on TV every spanning over one decade” Uwaje posited
 The Institute of Software Practitioners of Nigeria (ISPON) is the apex body of computer software and related services industry in Nigeria growth of the software-driven IT industry in Nigeria. It was formed in 1999 with the primary objective of being a catalyst for the growth of the software-driven IT industry in Nigeria. It was specifically set up to facilitate business and trade in software and related services and to encourage the advancement of research in software technology. It is a non-profit organization. It will serve as a single point of reference for any information on software industry in Nigeria
