NKEIRU SYLVANUS PREMIERES THE VOICE!

Nollywood star actress Nkeiru Sylvanus is set to premiere her latest movie, The Voice, as she returned to her first love acting, after a long hiatus. The premiere comes up on July 13^th 2014 at the prestigious Oriental Hotel, Lekki Lagos. Red Carpet starts 5pm.

However there was a mystery surrounding the shoot of the movie. It was that while Nkeiru and her crew were shooting in Owerri, the Imo state capital in 2012 she and Kenneth Okolie who played the lead with her were kidnapped in real life. In the story line for The Voice, Nkeiru was to be kidnapped by Kenneth Okolie. Both artistes were eventually held hostage by the kidnappers for 9 days.

Nkeiru who shot the remaining part of the movie after they were released by their captors explained, "We continued with the movie, with Kenneth and I having learnt a lot from our captors. This was helpful to us in our role interpretation."

The Voice is written and directed by Afe Olumowe and produced by Nkeiru.
Other casts include Betty Njoku-Olumowe, Larry Briggs, Edwards Fom, and Daniel Lloyed.
