CHIBOK GIRLS IS A MIRAGE-CHICO EJIRO; Blasts Enemies of the President, disassociates Nollywood from campaigns

One of the godfathers of Nollywood and the younger of the all powerful Ejiro Brothers, Chico Ejiro states that the much celebrated kidnapped of Chibok Girls is all a mirage. Not satisfied with calling the Chibok case a fake creation he went on to take a swipe at those campaigning for the rescue of the girls and blaming President Goodluck Jonathan for the abduction. These groups of people and the Boko Haram sect he nicknamed Detractors of the President and enemies of the Nigerian state.

Chico who spoke exclusively to TNS hinted, “While the president is doing his best as regards to the issue of Boko Haram we know that there are some detractors that are trying to bring his government down and Nollywood is not going to be part of that. Nigeria is number one in Africa, so we should be celebrating and not fighting in the name of Boko Haram.”

While talking on the Chibok Girls the ace producer and director, said, “I know the government is working hard to bring them back. But it has become propaganda for many using the campaign, #Bring Back our Girls# and as of such are using it as a propaganda tool for the distraction of the president. If we have a problem we should be discussing and not taking it to the International Community. That is what the detractor wants to achieve in bringing down this government. The Chibok Girls is all a mirage but the government is doing all possible to make sure they are back. Nigerians should encourage the government and not fight or follow the Western propaganda. They are not better than us. That is the reason,  if these days  a man couldn’t eat food, drink water or impregnate his wife at home, it is Mr. President. Do they want to kill him? Let them give him a chance to lead us to the next level.”
