KING SALVAGE DEDICATES NEW SONG “WETIN DEY HAPPEN” TO LATE FELA KUTI




Palm wine tapper crooner Onyeahialam Christopher Sunny a.k.a King Salvage, has dedicated his hit song, ‘Wetin Dey Happen’ to the late Afro King, Fela Anikulapo-Kuti. In the track, King Salvage gets philosophical, talking on crucial social subjects as national security unrest, Boko Haram, the sect`s unholy abduction of young girls and insufficient minimum wage.
The music producer cum audio engineer also talked on the promotion of African culture and promoting of the spirit of ‘Felabration’.


 According to King Salvage who started his musical sojourn at the age of 12 in his home town Ihitte/Utoma in Imo state, “This particular album contains 10 tracks hit songs, and the contents of the songs are all Reggae-Highlife/dance hall: It is a must listen album to all our leaders as this is going to change the phase of Nigerian music industry. It will also bring back Reggae-Highlife music which inspires the soul, spirit and promote peace in the society.”

However, Salvage`s debut album was in 2007 and titled “One Love”. That was followed by “Wicked Doctor” in 2009. The present album is ‘Brutality’.
