I`M ALIVE-EJIRO OKURAME CRIES OUT

The story on the death of two Nollywood actors has been debunked by one of the assumed victims, Ejiro Okurame.  The text message sent to the handset of TNS reporter inter alia and originates from a certain Goldmyne  TV. Blogspot states, “Two Nollywood stars Uchenna Amuta loses and Ejiro Okurame died in one day.”

But a click on the link of the story online reveals the writer had misrepresented late Lizzy Ogbodo for Ejiro as both have slight resemblance and were close friends before the demise of the Nollywood costumier.

Lizzy had died last Saturday at the Niger Foundation Hospital, Enugu due to health complications. The death of Lizzy occurred at the same day ace actor, Uchenna a.k.a Natty of the old Masquerade TV soap was admitted at the same medical facility.

It would be recalled that Lizzy`s death has gotten more comical than she would have wanted could the dead speak. Firstly, her death sparked the rumour of the death of Natty and thereafter, that of Ejiro. 

Meanwhile both rumours have been swept aside by the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) and Ejiro.  While the AGN through its National Secretary, Abuking says Natty is still alive, Ejiro told TNS, “I`m alive. No mind dem (rumour mongers) jare.”
